All contestants & alternates please read!

Priority Registration: Each year, the event fills mostly on the first day, sometimes within the first couple hours for certain divisions. We wish we had room on the weekend for everyone, but unfortunately many do not make the cut based on proximity to Rincon, time of entry, and years surfed in the Rincon Classic. We always recommend setting a calendar reminder for registration at 9:00 AM on December 1st each year.

Refund Policy: To receive a refund, a 7-day notice is required per waiting weekend. If you know you will not be able to attend select weekends during the waiting period, please email info@surfhappens.com at least 7 days in advance. If we run on a weekend you are unavailable, we will replace you with an alternate and issue a refund. Otherwise, you will remain in the event.

Note to Alternates: If you are an alternate and get moved into the main event in advance, we will send you an email that reads, “You are in the main event,” along with your heat number, color, and the surfer you will be replacing. We recommend adding our email address to your contacts so it does not land in spam.

If you are not registered in the main event, are listed as an alternate, and wish to receive a refund, please email info@surfhappens.com.
